The choir not only continues to lead the congregational singing, but has also been able to provide a short anthem at most services, as well as introduce new hymns, songs and settings from time to time.
Additionally the ladies and youngsters continue to provide a choir for Weddings, and we are grateful to our ‘extras’ who willingly ‘don a gown’ when we are shorthanded on a particular Saturday.
We would of course welcome new members
especially children, altos and tenors, and anyone interested should have

Telephone no. 0117 9654439. Rehearsals are generally on the Friday preceding the First and Third Sundays in the month, starting at 7-30 pm,
and at other times as required.

The
Music Group |
The Music Group has gone from strength to strength over the last couple of years, both in numbers and standard of performance, and
has added an extra vitality to worship at St John’s.
The Group is really beginning to play as a unified ensemble, and is now able to cope with a very wide variety of styles of
music and an ever increasing repertoire. Lately the Group has been able to take a very full role in accompanying virtually all the music during services, and members have recently bought their own uniform.
If you can play an instrument to a reasonable standard, and are interested in joining the Group, please
